Because it's good to be reminded to think about this.
Personally, I live because I want to heal.
And beyond that because I hope to give to the world that which I came here to give. I don't know exactly what it is. But I feel strongly that there is something and that it is connected to my heart. And my golden wish is to uncover it and to live it.

Because as a Buddhist I know my life is a precious gift and I strive to be the best person I can be and savor every bit of every day. I am given another chance every day to be a compassionate caring person and to experience each moment as unique, to understand and overcome suffering and teach others to do the same. I hope to eventually achieve an enlightened state so I can "move on" and not be reborn into this world again.

Someone's been licking the poetry books again. I find it's rather more mundane than that. I awake usually because my alarm's going off to the overwhelming need to top up on caffeine and nicotine, I have to will myself out of bed down the stairs where I slump onto the nearest available chair whilst I sit and wait for the afore mentioned drugs to kick in, and for the room to stop spinning. Doesn't sound like your Julie Andrews existence much does it? Are you like this all the time?

I don't know. My life basically is pretty messed up, but hope does not die. I used to want to give up when I was on antidepressants but since I quit taking that crap I never have a thought of not going on. I guess its hope, conciously and its unconcious hope as well. And sometimes it even amazes me. I guess its true about we have something in our spirit. I cry alot but then I ove on, my golden wish is to just have enough to be able to make a nice meal for my children if they want to come to dinner. to be able to pay my bills, and have a little left over for a new shirt or pair of shoes
because of an incident early in my life I have problems securing good employment. I went to college to study to
do counseling went all thru the course
but could not secure an internship so I coud not complete that. I wanted to live a life in servitude and gratitude by giving back what was given back to me.. my life.....as I had planned.
Last night was pretty bad but I keep thinking things have GOT to get better. I am angry and I hurt a lot but I am working on that

one is to find the perfect person to spend the rest of my life with and two is to become the fastest runner of the world. i train everyday. in the morning i run about 3/4 of a mile and at night, i usually run 1-2 miles. i gotta beat that 3:57 record!!! three is to be with my loved ones!
