What song has a special meaning to you, not your favorite song but one that maybe makes you cry, makes you happy, makes you remember somthing or someone special in your life??
Mine is dance with my father by luther vandros. I heard this song not too long after my dad died and it is such a beautiful song the words are everything that i wish i could have again!!!!

darkvixen...I love that song too it also reminds me of my daddy and my nephews!! Also tears in heaven is a very good song

Mine would be Holes in the Floor of Heaven by Steve Warner. This song really hit home when my mom died when I was 18. It talks about the mom watching over her daughter on her wedding day and when it starts raining it was really the mom crying while she was watching. When my big day came I could not listen to that song without sobbing like a baby! Another would be Tough Little Boys by Gary Allen. This was my father and the bride dance song at my wedding. this one has references to that same sort of thing. My dad and I were both crying during this dance!

SAD or ROCK? Okay.. I'm not sure on that. If by sad you mean.... slow and kind of emo... Evanescence has lots of these, as well as rock, such as: Hello Like You My Immortal Your Star Missing All That I'm Living For Sweet Sacrifice Weight of the World Going Under The Veronicas: All I Have Heavily Broken In Another Life Someone Wake Me Up My Chemical Romance has lots of good rock songs, and so does Switchfoot.

Mine would have to be "For You I Will" by Monica (Space Jam soundtrack). One day my sister called me and told me to really listen to the words, this wasn't long after I became a mother. It could be either a parent singing to their children, or a perfect wedding song. But since my sister had me listen to it and said "think about Tyler when you listen" it gets me everytime. I cry like a damn baby!! But it's absolutely the most perfect song to describe how I feel about my son.

"I cant drive 55" by Sammy Hagar. My dad used to have that tape and played it in his truck when he would come and pick my sister and I up for a visit. He died almost 9 years ago and thats the one memory that sticks out in my head!

A song that is special to me is: "You" by Fly To The Sky. It makes me think of my boyfriend and how much I love and care about him. The lyrics and just the melody of the song... i love it!
