It is the power steering. If you turn the wheel all the way it makes that noise too. but if it is when you are turning normally, then you should check your power steering fluid and pump. if it is low it will make noise and it should be a little harder to turn, if it is still full then you mak have a problem with the pump its self, if that is the case i would take it to a service shop. if the fluid is low fill it up and drive the car to see if the noise stops. It could also be a belt but i would put money on it being power steering.

It could be power steering fluid, the ball joints if your car has them, or the rack and pinion steering system. Any of these are a potentially serious problem and could leave you stranded if not corrected. Most likely it is not a belt if it only happens while turning. Whatever the problem is, it will not heal itself, it needs to be fixed. NOW!

excuse me! yet, there is extra then one question!! the call of the belt is serpentine belt. that particular belt do no longer choose being tensioned via mechanic it has a pulley with an spring in it self that supply the required rigidity to the belt..SO,,,,,between the pulleys is caught(bearing?) do no longer use ingredients on belts.....and because you already did...spray soapy water on it and then hose it up. brakes noisy!!! 2 types first brakes pads has from production facility one little piece of steel protruding from the backside steel in the direction of the rotor(disc) whilst the pad has positioned on out the steel touch the rotor and make a persevering with noise 2nd:whilst the brakes pads are being put in "the mechanic"could desire to place an small action picture of paste silicone on the back steel plate of the brake pads(which ability, the silicone would be between pushing piston and the steel plate) this form of noise isn't consistent.that's the only you have.

Have your power steering fluid, belts, and transmission fluid checked. All three could be contributing to the problem.

If the car is squeeling only when you turn than you should check the power steering fluid...

I think that is a belt problem. Yes a big problem if you have a long trip coming. Have it checked.

if it is belt driven power steering, tighten the belt, fan belts, alternater belts make the same noise when they are slack.p.s if they are slack it is because of wear and tear, replace them.
