It's probably because there are so few of them left. There aren't nearly as many Native Americans as there are blacks, Hispanics, or Asian Americans. And not only that, but many of them are poor, so they don't have the economic clout that some members of the other minorities do. Also, it's interesting that you should mention Oprah, because I remember that several years ago she did have some Native American guests on her show.

Cause native americans r the real owners of america,they were massacred in mass by the ppl who came from europe with guns and took the land from them and built usa over it,so they r like the palestinians in israel,
did u ever see the israeli TV having palestinian guests in their shows?!
of course not or very rare,cause if they give them the chance they will start asking for their rights and their land back,and occupying countries like usa & israel wont allow that.

Your right....and they are just like the Palestinians living on occupied land. They are however, respected a treated with respect unlike the poor Palestinians.

"Native" American are not really native to America they immigrated from Asia.
