Sean Connery. He was the first, set the standard and is who I think of when I see a James Bond movie.

I don't know. They are so different. Times are also so different. The kind of dialog and plotlines that were daring and relevant in the 60's and 70's just aren't appropriate any more. I think my favorite is Pierce Brosnan who had just enough suave and sex appeal to pull off the upper class bond, but enough physical strength to be believable as a killer. Daniel Craig is an interesting choice for the new bond. I'm withholding judgement until they make another movie so I can really see where they're going with this.

Sean Connery ......and Daniel Craig is a close second...you know
craig is the best Bond since Connery .Connery was the best because he completely ...I mean, you know, when you think of Bond you think of Sean Connery .Its his image that comes to mind when you just say 007.You hardly think of Roger Moore and all the others.

My favorite would be Pierce Brosnan, but Sean Connery and Roger Moore were great too. Can't say I care for Daniel Craig though. He just doesn't fit the mold. And it's not because he's blond. Roger Moore doesn't have really dark hair either, but I loved him in the part.

Sean Connery set the bar very high for all who followed---however I do believe the new guy will be as good as Sean---he defiantly showed his potential in the new movie, we just need to give him a fair chance
