Well, it is interesting. For example, you need to cope with people whose native language is not the one they are using, and try to puzzle out what they mean. I think you mean "Is it interesting" don't you?

America is very large, and has people from many, many different countries residing within it. People in Minnesota (which has a large Scandinavian population) are different from people in California (which has a large Mexican population). People who have lived in the same place all their lives (like the Amish) are vastly different from people who move around (like the Dead Heads). People who embrace modern ways are very different from people who cling to their heritage. People who go to large universities and mix with many different sorts are very different from people who stay in that little factory town where they were born and mostly only ever talk to other factory workers.

Yes, we need variety in our culture, as we need it in everything else. It is important to preserve our cultural heritage: the art, the literature, the music, the crafts, the language, the costumes, the variety which makes up the spice of our lives.

yeah...absolutely. I'm living in Indonesia, with thousands- and thousands culture, ethnics, religion, and race. You can see different people with their own custom, tradition, daily life.
