Hi to you all, it is wifeys birthday on boxing day and we always try to go out and do something, last year london eye, london zoo the year before and a river cruise the year before. We have access to car and are to the south of London. Please help with any ideas, however funny they may seem. We have two young kids (3 and 6) so they need to be amused too! HELP!!
If you know of any shows local to you or interesting events please let me know as I am quite stuck....

Go to the seaside and have a paddle in the sea then have a picnic on the beach. Make sure you've got plenty of blankets in the car to warm up later though!! And have plenty of hot chocolate in a flask!!
Or you could have a traditional 'summer' barbeque in the back garden and decorate it out tropical style!!

As a mummy and who,s usually shattered on boxing day id love a lie in for my birthday!! Take kids to a park or something give you re wife a long lie come back get kids to help you make breakfast in bed for her go out somewhere(sorry live in Scotland dont know whats on in London) see if someone will take kids for few hours in evening go for nice meal (if kids are away all night )come home and have a night in bed ............... hope my husband reads this.

Take her to the Caribbean. Leave after lunch Christmas evening.
Take her to Barbados or Turks and Caicos or even St Croix or St MArteen

I was gonna suggest something rude, but then I read bout your kids ans how they need to be kept amused, so u cant do that, unless you get someone to look after them. It might be nice to just stay in for one birthday.

have a relaxing day where you make her breakfast in bed and cook a nice meal in the evening for you all. During the day the kids can play with their new toys and your wife can relax and watch that new dvd you bought her and eat those chocolates you got too... nice.
