For the technology and the early inventors, ask your library to try to get you a copy of "Pioneers of Wireless" by Ellison Hawks. My copy was published in 1927 by Methuen and Co. of London, only three or four years after the start of radio broadcasting.

Try "Googling" radio + history and "Google" television + history.

There are many sites to go to once you get your "hits." You may also want to go to your local public library or better yet, the nearest university or college library. There should be plenty of books and reference resources to look through for your question.

It's a big topic. You may want to "narrow" it down a bit. (like personalities from radio and t.v. , radio and tv in different parts of the country, the role of radio and t.v. in family lives, etc.)
