We have given the world so much, often good, sometimes heinously bad; but the Teletubbies are modern, so blame Tony Blair, not Her Majesty, for them.
Personally, I much preferred 'The Clangers'.
Our worst atrocity against mankind, though, is Simon Cowell - Tinkie-Winkie has more talent.

Poverty.The colonial Britain pludered half of the world and made most of the African and Asian countries poor.It considered the other part of the world as suppliers of raw materials and market for finished products.It prevented industrial revolution spreading to other parts of the world.
