There are a lot.
Racism double standards: Some people can completely get away with it, and often even get laughs for it, while others are skewered for it.
Work double standards: Many times you will see certain people complaining of how "hard" they work, and how "lazy" their coworkers all are, but they are the first ones to take a voluntary layoff, or just happen to be sick a few times a month, or you'll see them take extra long bathroom breaks, or they will always grab the easiest task first, etc. etc. etc.
Sex double standards: Men are cool, but women are ho's for promiscuity.
Religious double standards: Bible thumpers and heads of certain church organizations often are caught doing incredibly X rated and/or pedophilic things.
Parenting double standards: Some people's kids can do "no wrong" and are "perfect little angels" and accuse others of being bad parents; meanwhile that "perfect little angel" is out doing all kinds of wrong -but the accusing parent is blind to it.
Pet owner double standards: Some pet owners are expected to keep their dog's and/or cats inside the house or yard at all times and leashed and watched under lock and key 24/7 practically, while others--like say, the neighbors who are always complaining about said pets--allow their OWN dogs and/or cats to run wild all over the neighborhood
Yahoo! Answers double standards: some people can get away with all the crazy xxx rated questions they want, while others have relatively innocent ones removed for violations constantly......so yeah. these are a few of the most annoying of the many double standards that go on all the time.

Relationship double standards. Especially parerental double standards. Kids get the brunt of it in my opinion when a parent tries to rectify their own mistakes/weaknesses by expecting their children to excell. Somehow, some parents justify their wrongdoings by how much their children accomplish in spite of the double standard. I tend bar, and can't tell you how many people sit there condeming their kids for drinking...lying...etc. I raised 7 kids with more honesty than I wanted to admit to them, but I was real and it paid off. I got to be human as well as my kids. I did encourage what I thought best for them but not by professing perfection. I felt they needed to know that life is a continual series of choices and learning experiences, and could not do that by holding a double standard of information. I see people all the time who think they are fooling their kids... but they're NOT!!! I think that does more damage than they realize.
I could go on...but you didn't ask for a book.(smile) At least you can tell I'm passionate about your question, as well as my answer. You asked a real provocative question. It makes me curious about your age. At any rate, I will be interested in the answers you recieve.
Best wishes,
Sha

there is no longer something incorrect with double, triple or extra texting see you later because the recipient is likewise deep into texting. some human beings basically are not. some human beings have telephones that force them loopy and that they had quite die than deliver or get carry of a textual content. some human beings do not evaluate it a 'actual' communique till they're chatting with the fellow on the phone or face-to-face. And texting is an irritant. i in my opinion want texting to talking on the phone. (I keep my prepare of idea extra valuable with texting) i imagine the purely rationalization why each person ought to act as if it replaced into undesirable should be that they felt bombarded through too many texts in a row. and they did not actually have the threat to reply in the previous they were given yet another one and yet another one. Or, if the sender has a bent to deliver 3,000 area texts to human beings (lol). I even ought to admit, i'm responsible of that. I write really lengthy texts. yet i ought to under no circumstances deliver something like that to human beings i did not comprehend ok. it ought to scare them! I keep that for those that comprehend me and could no longer imagine i'm nuts (or a minimum of comprehend that i'm and do not carry it adverse to me). quick-fireplace texts ought to continually be saved for ones inner-circle and the outer side human beings ought to get the edited and revised version. If one has basically met someone new and they are all enthusiastic about this new guy..that's needed to conceal the cellular from your self. continually proper to no longer provide in to the urge to textual content your brains out to this new guy because that's scary to maximum and ought to seem way too excited. Take your queues from the texter in case you do not comprehend them ok yet. in the adventure that they are quite wordy in texts, do a similar. in the adventure that they do the straightforward, one-liners, watch for the answer in the previous they deliver yet another..then do a similar. playstation in the starting up i idea you've been pertaining to the unintentional "deliver all" that sends the newly composed textual content to everybody of your contacts and that petrifies me.

God, where to begin?
Sexual equality, which is a load of bollocks. Men and women simply aren't equal. I have no problem with women doing whatever the hell they want, but stop complaining that we get paid more. The reason being: we do more. If you and a woman have exactly the same job, but some boxes need moving, or the bottle on the water cooler needs replacing, who's going to get asked, you or the woman? Exactly.
Another one is people being overprotective over children. They would rather see a person killed than have their children harmed. Isn't everyone somone's child?
Urh, pissed off now. I'm going to the pub.

I hate the fact that the PM of England and the president of the US say that they are thinking about my security all the time, and going to war to protect me.
Both of those guys have like 300 security guards, I think they should give me (and everyone else in the western world who they are protecting) 300 security guards each

The religious aspect.
People, who claim to be so righteous, have Jesus or Virgin Mary on their VEHICLES even and then go around shooting, robbing, or just being pricks in society, drinking it up in the bars.
The humor I get out of it that they will get exactly what they have coming to them!!!
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah life is fair and GOOD !
