I won't be able to visit my family this year, so this is what I'll be doing Thanksgiving day: I'll spend the morning at the office getting caught up on some things when there will be no one there to bother me and the phone won't be ringing. Fix myself a nice steak dinner with all the trimmings for lunch. Then I'm going to go see two or three movies; I'm thinking 'American Gangster', 'Beowulf', and maybe 'Lions for Lambs'. Then I'll probably go out to my favorite local bar to hang out with all my friends once they're sick of their families and need a drink.

Here in Canada we already had our thanksgiving, and I celebrated with friends, cooked supper, and relaxed and watched tv and played some cards, then kids were in bed we took out the booze.

Going to friends about 200 miles away, hooking up with our son and his family, watching football, and of course stuffing my self again this year. We'll have lots of laughs, and it will be a great day..
Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours;..............

Actually, it's just going to be me, hubby, and our daughter this year ~ most of the family is going to my brother-in-law's in Atlanta, but we can't get enough time off work, so we're just going to have a quiet little day together. I'm really looking forward to it, actually :)

Going home (from college) to spend a wonderful weekend with my family watching football, and helping my mom cook dinner (which ends up being lunch).
