You wont find a fantastic way to ruin your birthday because if you find an idea you think will work, it will either be enough for you to think it was fantastic, in which case your day is not ruined, it is infact as you had wished for, so you will feel satisfaction and some contentment. That is not ruined. If in fact something really does ruin your day it will result in you being miserable and having lost control over your day. In which case you wont think its fantastic.
So, sorry, you cant have what you want on your birthday.

Give yourself a surprise party- i expect you'll know about it all along.(that should ruin it a bit). Turn the lights off and say boo! to yourself. Hide the cake in your wardrobe until the day. Invite some long lost friends that can't make it or remember who you are. Drink on your own and get a really bad hangover- run out of loo roll and milk for the morning.

invite president bush and ask him make a birthday speech. also book it a t an old peoples home with a crap d.j.and you have to do the chicken dance all night.

I think going to work all day, getting balled out by the boss, followed by everyone cancelling on you for the evening. Ending up at home, alone, DVD player out of order and only Keeping Up Appearances on TV.
That would do it for me!
