Just come back from the supermarket and i'm raging again, why cant oap,s be given their own hour or two to do their shopping then clear off and go home and watch countdown or someother cr ap show, i dont care what time they want but two hours shopping oap's only then let the rest of us go round the aisles at our pace. I always get stuck behind dithering, dawdling can never decide "do i need 1 or 2" old people mumbling to their selfs, then they get to the checkout with their pennies and tuppences asking the girl to "take what you need dear" then they wanna start chatting to em, well i say hurry up and do your shopping then pi ss off. There i,ve got that out i feel better now.

Well why don't you do your shopping online (plenty of supermarkets deliver nowadays, not to mention all the other goods you can buy online) and leave the elderly people alone to shop at their leisure. You'll be old and slow one day and may need the support, patience and caring of people younger than yourself! Don't forget, many elderly people haven't got computers, wouldn't know how to use one, couldn't see them anyway and haven't got current accounts or credit cards. And for many, getting out and about is the only social contact they get! Spare a thought for them instead of criticising them. I'm no angel, sometimes I get frustrated by doddery elderly drivers and those holding me up at tills in supermarkets when I'm in a big rush, but they probably did too when they were young! We're all human, but show a little bit more understanding of something that you yourself are likely to become one of these days!!

You`ll be in that position someday.for some of the aged it is the only time they go anywhere and as for dithering rheumatism and arthritis are painul conditions that affect the joints and not only in the aged. Most of the people in this group have lived a much harder live than you will ever know ,working in the cotton mills or down the pits.not to mention those that fought in 2 world wars It annoys me when people moan about these people counting pennies to pay the cashier for they little shopping they do, don`t forget for most of them all they have is they`re old age pension and it doesn`t go very far so they do you wonder why they do this.

What make me think you`r the type that holds up the cashiers by paying by cheque or credit/debit card??

Just remember one important thing
"OLD AGE CATCHES UP WITH EVERYONE IN TIME"

i'm a pensioner. I used to have a vehicle yet a stupid youthful female on a cellular telephone unexpectedly met the returned of me at the same time as i became into turning precise. She wrote off my vehicle and intensely virtually killed me. i take advantage of my bus pass now, which isn't valid until 9-30am interior the morning, so i'm no longer combating all of us getting to artwork. I additionally bear in mind the days while toddlers and young ones stood up for pensioners and gave them their seat. in case you're fortunate, you will stay long adequate to be a pensioner and then once you examine such rubbish as this, you will basically experience melancholy.

Ohhh you mean mean person. Just you wait, your turn will come . Everybody gets old you know, some old people are very very lonely and the only time they get a chance to talk to someone is when they go shopping. Sis man, you are so mean. Why don,t you do your shopping late at night mmmmmm. What is a tuppence anyway.Sounds like you are an old person yourself.

I get pissed off with your kind when I go shopping, reaching around me, pushing and shoving, crashing their trolleys into me, pigheaded attitudes and making rude remarks. Why don't you find a less busy shopping time so that other more civilised shoppers do not have to suffer your uncouth behaviour.
I also suggest that if you find an everyday activity such as shopping such an ordeal and that you are developing shopping rage, then get into therapy.

You're not being fair. I went shopping this morning and Lidl's was full of them. They must get paid on tuesdays. Like Sheeny said, you'll be old one day. Try and be philosophical about it and don't shop on pension ers pay day :-)
