I am not American, but my country has been occupied by the USA for the last 104 years. Thus, my country has adopted many of the US customs and celebrations, and yes, Thanksgiving is one of the best. So, my friend, I'm glad you're so glad. Enjoy your first Thanksgiving and I wish you long and happy years in your new country.
Now, since you're new to the culture, you should know that not everyone in the USA is happy with Thanksgiving day. While millions are enjoying the turkey with their families and loved ones, many but many Native Americans observe instead the National Day of Mourning. It is a commemoration to the millions of victims that perished during the great genocide of Indians during the colonization of what is now the USA. I learned this during a visit to Plymouth Rock, Massachusetts, site of the first landing of the Pilgrims who in turn, started the Thanksgiving celebration.

Uh. Have you been really informed about what really happens on thanksgiving in America? First the Parade balloons get stuck in the power lines and cause another fine American tradition, the lawsuit. then you watch a lot of what we call football, which is nothing like what you call football. Then you will eat too much. Then everybody will lie around and complain they ate too much. Later one of the children will start to cry inconsolably.
Oh, ask for dark meat, the breast is nearly always dried out.

Everything in moderation. If you eat too much turkey, how will you have room for pie or potatos? Make sure to get plenty of sleep the day before and remember that the holiday is about being thankful for the important things we have, at least that was the orginal reason President Lincoln started it. Good luck!

It is great to be excited about Thanksgiving. For my wife and I, it is our favorite holiday.
Thanksgiving is the American name for the holiday, but Harvest Festivals are celebrated around the world. Look at the link in my source list for the history of Thanksgiving.
Take care,
Troy

Way cool Drampor. Just be careful not to reconstitute yourself in a parallel universe, or you'll change the course of history and mess things up for the rest of us.

We do have some nice hollidays here! Just enjoy them to the max! Try not to get sick or anything negative!!
Give yourself permission to have a rave up! "Greetings" on Yahoo allows you to send free ecards to friends, as does Apple>.mac>iCards.
I believe that if you need scientific notation to describe your enjoyment, you are lucky!

Sound waves do no longer propagates in area because of the fact they choose for medium to propagate in. when you consider that area is very almost proper vacuum, then you definately won't pay attention any sound. you won't be able to compensate this by utilising the view of the supernova.
