The "sink" sits on the cabinet, usually just sits there. You have to connect or dis-connect the faucets after you turn the water off of course. Dis-connect the drains and pipes. These all help to hold the sink down. then pull it up and take it out. Reverse the procedure to replace it. Good luck

I'm assuming you want to know how to install a sink ... faucets and all .. in your bathroom.

1. Find the fixture that turns off water to your house..usually outside.
2. Beneath the sink you will find curved pipes.. called a 'J' trap for its shape. Use a pipe wrench or channel locks to loosen the locking nut that connects the J trap to the straight pipe coming from the wall. Have a bucket handy for any water that spills out of the trap.
3. Follow the two small water lines (either flexible or rigid) that lead to the faucets. You may need a faucet wrench to loosen these. It looks like a straight rod with a curved u-shape at the top that swivels.

Now you can lift out the old sink. To install, reverse the procedure.

1. Fit the J trap onto the pipe extending from the wall and snug down the locking nut...not too hard.
2. Replace the hot and cold lines (those two smaller pipes..could be either flexible or rigid) and snug those down.
3. Turn the water back on...check for any leaks.

Be sure to use teflon tape on the threaded connections...costs about a dollar. You can get more detailed instructions on the Do-It-Yourself site, here:

If you never done this yourself, get a plumber.
