It's not a movie, but a cartoon. Charlie Brown's Thanksgiving after the Macy's Day Parade. Then in the afternoon, football!

Yes Virginia There is a Santa Claus is playing in the morning. We watch the Macy's Thanksgiving parade and then it's football. While the children are doing craft stuff and some baking of sweets to carry home.
With The Ohio State University playing.......... it's going to be Football, Football, and Football and we might bake or not depending on the kids.

Thanksgiving evening brings the first viewing of "It's a Wonderful Life" with Jimmy Stewart. We watch this movie habitually during the holiday season, but I always tear up watching it on Thanksgiving evening. It could be the sentimentality and heartwarming message of the film, or it could be that my pants have gotten so tight that the circulation to my legs has been cut off, but I tear up just the same.

Charlie Brown Thanksgiving - watched it last night.
On Thanksgiving Day it's pretty much just the Macy's parade and football and maybe an occasional glance at the dog show. Can't wait! Thanksgiving is probably my favorite holiday!

I am a High School Geography teacher and I have shown clips from it twice this year already - we watched the last 10 minutes on Friday before the break.
Love the earrings - the movie is a classic.

Oddly enough, "A Christmas Story".
P.S. the book, "In God we Trust all others Pay cash" is where the movie comes from, it's a pretty good read if you imagine that narrator's voice from the movie narrating the rest of the book.

My favorite one to watch is "Home For The Holidays"....it reminds me of Thanksgiving with my family...when I used to celebrate holidays with them. If you watch the movie, you'll understand why I don't do holidays with them anymore! LOL!

The new release that is "G" rated - 7 grandchildren.
This year it is "Happy Feet".
Long tradition before grandchildren came. Bond is good but more violent for 007. No grandchildren of mine in it. My husband & I previewed it. Bring on the "Happy Feet".
