Maybe start a kissing booth? Or get people to hire you out for birthdays or whatever, you could go and chant and kick for them.

Good luck! And I hope to God you're better looking than our uni cheerleaders (big butch Scary Marys, the lot)

You can always go the safe route and organize bake sales, car washes, rummage sales, etc., but why not try something like a couple of weekend 'junior cheerleader' camps? Some of the younger kids in your area who aspire to be cheerleaders like you someday would love to learn some basics!? You could also provide tutoring for classes that some of you excel in. Get together a cheer up crew and provide services such as window washing, and other general housework. If you get creative there are all sorts of things the members of your squad are great at that can be made into a source of income!! Good luck!

My friend was captain of a cheerleading team and they had the same problem. They did the whole bikini car wash thing and raised some money and also produced a calendar. I bought a copy of it and hung it in my office - the guys in work were well impressed!
Also you could do some coaching for the local kids - dance or gymnastics and pester the local sports teams to hire you for games etc.
On top of that, you could have a jumble sale or car boot sale.

Good luck raising the funds and kick *** when you get to the states!!!

How about a cheer leading parachute/base-jump display? You can do your cheer on the way down.they can be arranged and if you expain what it's for you'll probably get the training etc free, just let them throw in a couple of free plugs! Best not use all 60 of you though... However, 60 cheer leaders may be a world record parachute jump too??
Good luck in the USA girls

Hmm.. there was a film about this sort of thing.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0077415/ this tells you about the film.

Anyway... if you don't want to do that try doing a sponsored event. Like a 12 hour cheer-athon. Or you could make things to sell for money like cakes or knitted scarves for the cold weather.
Also some businesses may sponsor you if you wear an advert for them on your uniform.

Good luck!

Get in touch with your local football team, they might let you cheerlead for them and allow you to do a collection at half time.

Do something at school. We have something we do called "Mr. MHS". Three senior guys are chosen and they each get a jar set up in the lunchroom. For a week or two, people put $$ in the jar of the person they want to win. Whoever has the most $$, wins the title. Hope that helped!

try doing a few car boots ,i'm sure some of your freinds or neighbours would have items they want to get rid of and as it's for a good cause they would probably give items to you. good luck.
