Just Try This.

Click "SETTINGS" Button in "PERFORMANCE FRAME".

Goto "ADVANCED" Tab

Click "CHANGE"

Set the "INITIAL SIZE to 500MB" and "MAXIMUM SIZE to 1000 MB or GREATER".

Please ignore all the other answers, they are not correct. The answer lies in just adjusting a setting. Go to Start > right-click My Computer > select Properties > Advanced tab > click the first Settings button > Advanced tab > then click the Change button. Increase your Virtual Memory by entering higher numbers than what's already there and click Set. The recommended is at least for the Initial 1200 MB to Maximum 2400 MB. You can enter more if you want.

How much memory is installed on the pc? Also how much free space is on the hard drive? Both are involved in the virtual memory of a pc. Mostly hard drive space. If I remember correct they suggest 3X the physical memory in free hard drive space for windows. Hope this helps.

We had exactly the same problem and tried all the suggested solutions. We still did not get anywhere and had to buy more memory. It all works like a charm now.

You need more RAM. You will have to go to pcworld site and check which RAM to buy which is compatible. You can fit it yourself. Make sure it matches the one you've got as the lower one won't work otherwise. I have just been thru this myself.
Good luck.

Try to use a different web browser and save your temporary items in a different location (if you have 2 hard drives then save it in the smaller 1)

Also on your web browser go to
**********Tools>Internet Options>Settings>**********
Change the size of the folder to 200Mb

Hope this helps!

click these buttons... start, all programs, accessories, system tools, disk clean-up.

in the same menu ( system tools) is disk defragmenter. Run that to make your computer run faster. it puts every thing in order so your computer doesnt have to search it out.
