A week of being a good mom. Patient, loving, playing play-dough, coloring, playing basket ball hoops, dealing with tantrums, not talking enough to other parents, always been kid-focused. Some Fridays my hubby and I will sit on the deck and play Risk and drink a few beers after the kids go to bed. Not a lot because I hate being hungover. But that's what drives me to drink!

Just being really bored. I'm more likely to want to drink when I'm single than in a happy relationship. Sometimes, if everyone is going to drink, than I'll get in the mood to or if I'm at a concert.

My car, my husband, my friends, my job, my family.....you name it.....anything that could possibly go wrong lately has, why im not completely off my face yet?.....Drinking will never solve anyones problems, just help them forget for a while, it never changes the situations, and sometimes makes things ten times worse.....it isnt worth it.

Feeling like the whole world is passing you by, and you didn't get invited. Am there, feeling it right now, and planning on drinking myself stupid on saturday so I can forget everything else for awhile.

Stress drove me to drinking but a good hearted nurse got me to quit.

My brother commited suicide, my husband dropped dead, 9/11 happened and my only child got shipped to iraq. That pretty much did it. My therapist says I'm better now.
