Syria & Iran is why we must win in Iraq. both these countries want to make that whole regian a Islamic state like them self. Their goal is to push all western influince out of the region so the Muslims have absolute power. This will really cause a problem with the rest of the world. We can not allow this to happen We WILL have world war 3 then Also their goal is to wipe Israil off the map. No other nation is as close to Israil as we are If we cut & run now & let Iran & Syria have their way We will REALLY have a globel problem . If we think things are bad now , What will happen then?

while I am not in total disagreement with you, please remember that the Christians were the first to start the "holy wars" and raid, pillage and plunder. The Christians are as guilty as the Muslims....which is nothing new. Religion is and has been the cause of many wars since the beginning of time. This being said, we already HAVE a global problem, as non-muslims....look at the change in the Muslim world since 1720...it was almost exactly the same then as it is now,,,,but was dessimated and reduced to ruin by WWi.....what goes around comes around.....we need to be prepared, and we need to look at the newest cause of the Western world being in the east.....OIL.....the West burns 75% of the worlds oil...yet has only 25% of the population or less. We need to reduce the dependence on oil and by doing that, we will reduce their power...no money = no power. We have done this to ourselves, by showing them the way to our hearts....through our pocketbooks.

Ignorance my dear sir,is BLISS.Syria is not an Islamic state. It has its own problems with Islamic Militants-The muslim Brotherhood. This kind of Inorance and incompetence is what landed us here in the first place.there will be no world war three because the supremacy of the only super power has been badly dented by the war in Iraq.the problem you have is your rose colored glasses. This stops you from seeing beyond your nose.
what is it that stops you from seeing that we are losing? The sad part is that we are losing to Saddams republican Guards,While Chicken hawks like you keep saying we need to stay til victory.
There is an important issue that you fail to see.our military capabilities are now exposed to the whole world. These Saddamist with the aid of our russian friends have studied the weaknessses of our armored vehicles and take them out at will. They are beginning to see that our troops bleed red after all.
We made too many mistakes in the beginning to hope for a friendly Iraqi audience right now.like it or not we are screwed.
If we fail to learn the lessons of history we are bound to repeat them and we HAVE.Let's take a page from Vietnam .A country that defeated us in war. When we left ,the country became unified and Vietnam did not spread its brand of communism, rather it was the only country willing to go into communist cambodia to stop the genocidal regime and it did so.today 2 presidents have visited vietnam.Bush most recently and communist Vietnam has become one of Asia's economic Giants.Well Chicken little you may yet realize that the sky will never fall. How sir,can you ask us to let the same incompetent men,men who couldn't control desasters on their own soil,to control a catastropher of their own making in another country?

Where is your evidence for any of this?

I could just as easily state that if the USA leaves Iraq the country will become a peaceful, democratic utopia. That doesn't make it correct, but when giving your opinion you have not stated or referred to a single FACT.

Perhaps this is why the war started in the first place?

Now I understand the South Park episode when the pro-war and anti-war groups fight it out. I 'm a little bit country and I'm a little bit rock and roll.
