most beautiful women would feel irritated as they are used to attention lavished on them by men. so they wouldnt want competition. had another girl in class look at me angrily before jus cos i looked at the guy who liked her..
these women who act cute, they are totally insecure of themselves, tryign to attract attention only. totally superficial.. so dt get too stressed over them.

On the whole, I feel sorry for the women who preen and pose and act cute. After all, they are just doing exactly what they have been conditioned to do by the media, and reinforced by society at large. The, after caving into the pressure, they are criticised for doing so. Like men who idolise thin, blonde women but disdian the vanity it necessarily produces as a result of the endless upkeep. I used to be larger than I am now and not care too much about my appearance it was as if had personally walked up to some girls and insulted them, as they treated me like dirt. You become invisible to men. Appearance seems to be so important to people. Now I have lost a lot of weight due to illness, (around 25kg) and I cannot believe the difference in how I am treated. But I have noticed that I have become competition for some women and these women are a problem to me. So you can't win either way. My personality hasn't changed a bit. But people have reacted alarmiingly differently to my physical appearance, which has so little to do with who I really am.
All I would say is, remember that behind all the preening and posing is a human being with insecurities and feelings, who feels that without the make up and clothes they are not worth the attention of others. Your friend's looks maybe confirm this to you. It's hard because the people who should attract our sympathy most are usually the ones who seem to deserve it the least.

It depends wholly on the "beautiful woman". If she is truly secure in her beauty, whether it be on the outside, inside or both, then she would know that men are visually stimulated and can not help looking at other women. It's natural and if he didn't look, I would think there was something wrong with him. It's what he does after he looks that really matters.
As for the preening, posing and acting cute, I think alot of that is what the media pushes onto women. In order for a man to find you attractive you have to be model thin, wear lots of makeup, and dress in revealing clothes and uncomfortable shoes.
Fortunately most women, as they mature, realize that this is simply not true, and most men do like us just the way we are and see the true beauty of women both inside and out.

Society has placed specific demands on females and that is too always look their best since it is their sexuality and appearance that makes them worth anything. Women feel the need to compete for the attentions of males since men have historically been in control of the resourses necessary for women and their children to survive.
