i thought every body likes britney and it was an all american dream to get with britney! why everybody smashing her now? is she the same britney?

People are vicious, at heart. We like to think we are good, but we really aren't. We like a person as long as it is "the thing to do." We trash a person when liking him/her is no longer cool. When it comes to celebs (people we don't even know and wouldn't even know what to say, if we met them) we respond the way the media tells us to respond. When the tabloids hate someone, we hate him/her. When they love someone and run little warm, fuzzy-feeling, sentimental articles about their lives, we go, "awwwww, isn't that nice? Isn't she just the best...."
So, it all has to do with the inherent nature of man to be distrustful of those richer, stonger, more physically attractive, and more talented (you better watch Zobo the caveman, he is taller, stronger, can throw a rock farther, and is better hung than us regular cave-dudes: he will steal our cavegirls!) AND, it has to do with how easily you are brainwashed by the media.
Come on! Is it cool to love or hate Britney today? I guess the only people who can really answer that are the people who KNOW her, right? Me, I don't care either way. I don't know the girl, she don't know me, and that is just fine. More power to you Brit! Live your life the way that makes you happy! People will trash you just because that is what unhappy people do to feel smarter and better about themselves--- screw them! Choose love, choose life, choose freedom to choose.

I don't think people hate her as a person, they just hate that she's always on the news for something meaningless. There's WAY more important things going on in the world besides Britney's divorce and her other random antics.

I think you have all done wrose than britney accept your private news isn't slasped across the news so y dont you leave britney alone shes a young mom going through a divorce and sort your own lifes out, i bet you have more skeletons in your closet than her!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't hate Britney, I just think she's made some mistakes like everyone in here. A very poor one I might add. Atleast she realizes now how stupid it was to be with someone as low as Kevin Federline. He is nothing but a low life, money hungry jerk. I have always liked her, but not her singing.

I don't dislike her, I think she is talentless and she made her self look bad by taking someone else man who had a child and another on the way. She made herself look like trash, and some people were disappointed. Me on the other hand never really cared for her, I was never a big fan, but I do think she is a great entertainer, not a singer though.

I think it all has to so with Kevin. When people seen that she was with a man that was her back up dancer and had to other children with another women that he left for Britney they automatically thought she was a loser too. Kevin makes her look trashy.

In my opinion it is because her lifestyle lacks for nothing- but many ordinary people have to struggle just to put food on the table. I guess that's called jealousy, but a different form of it. Also everyone is SICK to death of hearing about her marriages- which she can't seem to make last longer than a few months- if even a day. Whatever happened to those vows being sacred and lasting. Geesh- just because you change your mind....
