most people would say that George W is the worst in recent times, since he is the most warring and what I consider to be the most dangerous...anyone who believes that "God speaks directly to them only" and acutally listens to that voice as "the source of decision-making" has a real problem. I am not anti-Christian, rather I am anti-fanatical, which George W seems to be. However, the worst president could most likely be Richard M. Nixon, for the abuse of power and blatant disregard for the constitution of the United States, all brought out by the Watergate scandal.

The worst- Jimmy Carter, in a close second- Bill Clinton. Jimmy Carter should have been a missionary not a politician, and Bill Clinton should be a lounge singer somewhere.

Well...that's not an easy question...there have been so many bad ones! It depends as well on what you think is recent.
I will tell you a few that I think were bad...
Jimmy Carter--really bad recession almost nearing depression
Bill Clinton--the economy did well at that point, but it was due to the previous administration's work, not his. He was just a philandering show dog.
George W. Bush--Presents himself very badly. I personally can't get past his bad grammar...so can't really hear a word he says. I just shut off thinking "What an idiot"

No matter how far back I go :can't think of no one else than the Comedian in Chief G.W BUSH.
I don't recall who said "the President should be fluent in at the least one language." He is not.
