The UCs keep that information pretty well hidden, for good reasons. UCLA has two programs with community colleges in the Los Angeles region to recruit and assist junior transfers. My recommendation would be to find a community college you like that is part of the two programs and worm your way to the hearts of the admissions staff there. Having an admissions person helping you every step of the way is as close of a guarantee as you will get to get admitted to UCLA.

After last week, I suspect that it won't include many schools with students of middle-eastern backgrounds.
When I was at Berkeley, I remember some of my students telling me that Berkeley was required to reserve a number of slots for students who had attended community colleges in California. I assume that UCLA and the other UC schools have the same mandate.
