you need to apply at the local court office i did when i need mine and it was about £10 but that was a few years ago phone them and ask or ask the register office they will let you know how to go about it
(this applies in England not sure about Scotland or anywhere else for that matter) there are some web sites that will let you know about it

Well the advice that its £5 per year seems very wrong.well been depression should not affect his memory,i have been under treatment for some years for it,but i can still remember thing from my past even every think about my divorce, surly he knows who the solicitor was WHO dealt with the matter,he would advice which court and how to get a copy of the papers

I had to re apply for my papers 3 years after and luckily i still had the decri nisi so i had the ref number and it cost me £1 !!
As you have no paper work the most it should cost is about £30
You just have to contact the court that issued the papers. Easy peasy. good luck x

Why don't you contact your solicitor and ask? Otherwise the local Registry Office or CAB might be able to help. £5 per year sounds steep so you should check it out. Good luck - hope you get it sorted quickly and have a wonderful wedding.

You don't need divorce papers to get married, they just put previous marriage annuled on your wedding certificate, didn't have to produce my divorce papers when I got married again. Am in UK.
