The brown stuff is called lochia...it's your uterus shrinking back to normal size and shedding its lining...while you were pregnant you had a large amount of blood flow and many blood vessels built up to help nourish the baby. When women carry a baby to full term, they shed lochia for up to 2 months after delivery. It should be reddish at first, then brownish, and can possibly have clots in it...but the clots should be no larger than a ping pong ball. Eventually it will turn to a clearish discharge. If it turns bright red or starts to have a foul odor, you should go to the doctor immediately. I would suggest getting checked anyways, but if you're too scared too, what you're having is normal. Next time use a condom...or better yet, don't do it at all.

aways go to your doctor when unsure, miscarriages happens 1 out of 6 pregnancies, they can vary just as pregnancy does. This is why its a good idea to go to the doctor to be checked out. I personally had a miscarriage and had no symptoms at all, I carried a dead baby for many weeks, I had my 18 week ultrasound and found out the baby was only the size of 13 weeks with no heartbeat. That was my only symptom. many women have their bodies reject the baby and everything just passes naturally without any signs before losing the baby. Talk to your doctor so you can be sent for an ultrasound if worried. Best of luck.

You really need to tell your parents or go to the doctor!! I cant quite work out from your question if you are pregnant now and think you are having a miscarriage or if you have had one and are now getting a brown discharge? Either way I really think you should see a doctor. you may have an infection and they will need to check you!

You really should be checked by a dr just to make sure there is no retained fetal tissue.
