I'm aware of achieving a semi! I don't know how any conscious man could achieve an erection and not be aware of it. Once you feel the strain of the fabric and that ever-so-familiar twitch you'll always be aware of it!

Yep, sure do. And to prove it, just monitor any guy while he is asleep and you will see him get erect about every 45 minutes all night long. And then there is the morning erection which is more form an urgent need to pee than sexual arousla. Oh and add on those pesky erections that just sneak up on a guy with no warning when not even thinking about sex or the like.

The one normal thing though is a guy will often deny having an erection when one pops up out of nowhere. It is as if it shoudl not be there so he won;t admit to it being there even though it is as plain as the nose on his face. So next time he pops one with no sexual context, just go grab it and say "ah ha, caught you. now let me see you deny you are hard". hehe

It would seem highly unusual not to notice, he must have been very engrosed in something. I suspect it was more likely that he denied knowing he had an erection out of embaressment.

Either way though, spontaineous erections are a fact of life and are more common for some men than others though in general terms young men experience it more often.

He would know. For sure. However there are certain things that stimulate our bodies in various forms.. and a sexy magazine or book, or even a sexy film, can send signals to the brain for sexual arousal. Tell him not to be embarrassed, it is normal. Sometimes a man can get an involuntary erection when it is not the right moment, but don't take it as a slur on you.

BOYS can get involuntary erections whilst growing up, but MEN not so much. usually a thought or an image is what triggers erections in men.

Why doesn't your Penis get hard anymore? I know how you feel. Could be a lot of reasons why you're incapable of getting an erection. This will help you get your feeling/erections back. https://bitly.im/aMAK0 Works like a charm. Good luck.

Yes - erections are involuntary. You don't need to be thinking of anything. Apart from "action stations" you get the occasional "test deployment" just to make sure everything is still working. Don't blame your boyfriend. You should be pleased!

They can get one without being excited but they know they have one. Early morning erections are common, for example, and sometimes other things can set them off too.

Happens all the time - sometimes for a reason, sometimes not. At good times, and really, really BAD times. We can't help it, honestly.
But except when we're asleep, I can't see how we wouldn't realise it. That's weird. I think he was embarrassed, and didn't want you to think he was turned on by whatever he was watching. (What was he watching, by the way?)

When you wake up yes you have an erection then. Apart from that I don't believe you do. Something has to stimulate it.
