I want a really good, known brand of skateboard. Ex. Element, pig, girl, etc. I prefer girly ones. I have about 40-50 dollors to spend in total.

well skateboards as a package... wont be that cheap... however there are some higher end variflexs that are around that price range for an ok package.
find a used deck... and some cheap but nice bearings... and get ya other parts used
or ask some kid you know with a used deck.

Skateboarding is not cheap. And "good" boards are around $100 new. Local skate shops/parks have sales. Go to one and you don't know what you can find. But if your a noobie at skating, i wouldn't suggest getting a really good board just yet. If you want a "real" board, i would suggest getting an almost, or a girl. World Industries is a good learners board for cheap, and were created by Rodney Mullen. By the way, pig makes wheels, not decks.

Element is not girly!! but you can get 'em at walmart for like 20 bucks
