I believe there are Muslim banks in the UK who do just that. The first one was in Manchester, I think. You should be able to Yahoo it.

Islamic Banks run on the principle of lending, without interest. But I am not aware of economics of it runs. As banking is fully dependent on interest. May be they work on service charges which are heavy. Please contact any Islamic Bank.
