It is meaningless to those who do not follow it.
While wisdom may be found within it's pages, it provides others with reasons/rationalizations to back up personal prejudices. It, like all the great works of the past, may be used for much good or great evil, depending on the mindset of who is using/reading it.
It is just another book. Books are tools. What comes from the tool is dependent upon the hand that wields the tool.

It's a book that was written a long time ago by a few guys that heard the same story differently, so they decided to writh a book about it.
It has since been used for centuries to brainwash young children until the grow up and are in the state you are in now.
It has also been used to promote and give power to child molesters and murderers, so i think it should be banned, i mean how many stick (porn) books have you heard of that have incited such hatred and violence, and they are banned in certain places all over the planet.
