I ask this question again because I am in Sydney, Australia, which means the TIME DIFFERENCE makes it difficult for Americans to see my question while they're sleeping..

I ask again because nobody answered it sufficiently the first time. If you answered this question before, why answer it again??

Like it or not,gay relationships have existed ever since humanity was created.Gay relationship has a strong presence in ancient cultures such as the Hellenic and the Roman ones. Also, there were, and maybe are (future will show), many men of genius who had homosexual orientation. But,as they made their contribution to human culture as a whole,I don't think it makes them a separate cultural group. As for gay traditions, well, gay people are different in their way but I don't think they have different culture,so,in my opinion,we should talk of gay subculture, rather than gay culture. All things are a product of their own environment. If gay people are product of our cultural environment, then they belong to it,right?

So, are you looking for real answers or just being snippy?
You dismiss anything that you don't agree with anyway, not to mention that you've already asked this question before so, do you enjoy being repetitious or are you just looking to waste time? You've already stated that "being gay" is something YOU do with your penis and another man and has nothing to do with anything remotely resembling a "culture" so what is the point of REasking this?

Try another view of your condescending list...
Drag queens- Gay based form of entertainment both honoring and spoofing Cabaret traditions from other venues of earlier times.
Leather - Gay sub-culture involved in the BDSM lifestyle.
Gay Mardi Gras - similar to Mardi Gras traditions found in other places with as much relevance to the Gay Culture as it has to the others who enjoy celebrating it...
Public Toilet Sex, beats, and cruising - no more or no less than the gay equivalent to the back seats of cars, sleazy bars, and inappropriate venues found in the heterosexual community.
Kylie Minogue, Judy Garland, Liza Minelli - loved by both Gay and Straight audiences, relevant to many, ignored by some, their work is what it is. Talent.

The tired, bitter, and cynical bit is just another stereotype, interesting to see that you've embraced it so completely considering your viewpoint on the subject.

gays are fun to be around. I don't mean having sex with 'em, i mean I enjoy their culture.

Ever go to a drag queen contest? You'll laugh till you die.
