i don't think it matters with direct deposit. Electronic deposits should post on the day it is supposed to . Although my local credit union has problems with delayed postings,my other banks do not.
I would call the bank and ask,I have had direct deposits posted early a.m. ,on the day of holidays before but not with a credit union.
Check online and check your balance when the deposit is supposed to get there. If you have an ATM card ,you can access funds that way without worrying whether or not the bank will be open.

For most banks I think this happens on the day after.

Wednesday. If your direct deposit day is on a holiday or weekend then it will always come the day before.

Call your bank and ask...it's better to get the information from them.
