You need Anima before you can get the Magus Sisters.
Since I'm not sure what steps you've taken to acquire Anima, I'll go through the whole thing on how to get both of them... better too much information than not enough, right? I'm typing this all out... it isn't pasted from anywhere. Sometimes, I think those strategy guides are a little confusing, so I like to put it in my own words.
In order to get Anima, you will have needed to obtain the Destruction Spheres from EACH Cloister of Trials in the six temples scattered throughout Spira. Many people miss the Zanarkand Destruction Sphere, which can only be obtained after you've completed the trials there the first time. If you have, a second puzzle will appear, in which you will need to find the location of all the white squares without any guidance from the screen. After you've managed this, you'll get the Destruction Sphere, which you'll need to place in either of the holes in the second room... the chest will then appear.
Now, you need to have acquired control of the airship, and you need to have the Highbridge as a location on your Navmap.
Go to the "Search" option on the Navmap, and find the coordinates between 11 and 16 X, and 57-63 Y. You should find a new location called the "Baaj Temple."
At the Baaj Temple location, run to the end of the rock path, and you'll automatically dive into the water. Swim towards the green dot on the map, and you'll come across your old friend Geosgaeno from the beginning of the game, except this time, you have to finish him off.
I'm not going to run through this boss battle, because it isn't terribly difficult, so I'll just suggest Stoneproof Armor for Tidus, Rikku and Wakka to begin with.
After you've beaten him, swim around underneath the water in this area until you find the door to the hidden temple. There's also a very important treasure that can be obtained in this area... but I don't want to give any spoilers if I don't have to.
Inside the temple, you'll see six statues. Each statue corresponds with a temple throughout Spira, and each statue will light up, based on whether you have received the Destruction Sphere for that particular temple. In case you're missing any, here's a list of what corresponds to what:
Top Left: Besaid
Middle Left: Macalania
Bottom Left: Zanarkand
Top Right: Bevelle (You get this one automatically!)
Middle Right: Djose
Bottom Right: Kilika
After you've lit all six statues up, proceed into the Chamber of the Fayth, where you'll get Anima. He's worth the effort!
Now, to get the Magus Sisters, you HAVE to have all of the other Aeons, including Yojimbo and Anima. If you didn't buy Yojimbo's services in the Cavern of the Stolen Fayth below the Calm Lands, you need to do so before you can proceed.
After you've accomplished that, you need to located the Chocobo Trainer in the Calm Lands, and complete the Chocobo Training mini game. Obtain a Chocobo to ride, and you'll be able to enter Remiem Temple.
Remiem Temple is near the entrance to the Calm Lands (near Macalania Woods). Keep going right until you see a yellow Chocobo feather on the ground. Hit the X button and continue down the path until you arrive at Remiem Temple.
If you battled Belgemine's aeons in the Calm Lands, you'll find her in the temple. Approach her, and challenge her Aeons. You'll need to fight all of them, at least up to Bahamut, to get the Flower Scepter, a key item in obtaining the Magus Sisters.
Next, you need to have captured all of the fiends in the Calm Lands and Mount Gagazet. You can go to the Monster Arena and check your stats there. Once you've managed this, the man at the Monster Arena will give you some useful items, including the Blossom Crown, which is the second key item for obtaining the Magus Sisters.
When you have both items, and all the Aeons, including Yojimbo and Anima, go back to Remiem Temple. Find the sealed door in the back, and elect to break the seal. You'll have to go up to the door twice to open it. You'll see a cut scene of Yuna entering, and receiving the Magus Sisters.
Whew... sure hope this helped! It's a lot of work, but they're really worth it!

Well if you really want to know which is better you should play Final Fantasy X, it is the first between the two, better graphics, you will actually know what is going on in the story rather than skipping to X-2. Some Pro's from FFX-2 is -You can use Aeons -More characters, variety and powers -Better bosses -Grids that allow you to have characters learn certain abilities Square Enix has not discussed having an X-3 since the reason they made X-2 was because of the ending loophole. Good luck!

In order to ge the magnus sisters you must get the treasure from each of the temples, including Zandarkand (warning: You only have one chance to get the one in Bevelle.) Then afterwards you'll need to go to Baaj temple and get Anima, and buy Yojojima in the calm lands gorge (When Lulu's first summoner died) Afterwards you'll need to face all of the summons from the lady in the Clam Lands temple (accessed by Chocobo) and after defeating all of them you'll be given the chance to have the Magnus sisters. But you'll need the two specters, Blossom and Flower specter to open the door.
