Although your answer was polite and friendly, you didn't really answer the question. The asker was obviously looking for people to elaborate on what they thought. Don't take it to heart though, what you said was still valid. Maybe you should just get a bit more involved next time.

I agree with the answer you gave.
The only thing you need to worry about is, that is what you believe and to hell with whatever anyone else thinks, because at the end of the day you are the only one that matters you.

People obviously are intolerant. I thought your answer was valid and didn't deserve such a low rating as it your belief and your opinion. Good on you for speaking your mind. The world needs more people like you. It doesn't matter that you didn't answer the question directly you said what was on your mind.

No idea. A lot of people get very defensive when it comes to religion. Apparently god forgives everyone. No matter what they've done in their life time. On that assumption we are all ok.

because people assume others don't have their rightful opinion in regards to religion--that one religion is the supreme and correct one, they are just idiots, and need to be more open minded and embrace someone's thoughts on christianity so they could be lead the "right" way, if there is a right way...
