i'm looking for acetone to remove the glaze of my shoes. anyone know where to get any?

Any hardware store. Methyl ethyl ketone is a little slower if acetone is too fast.

Fingernail polish remover has an acetone base it might work.

I hope you are doing this in the yard since acetone fumes can cause the house to blow up.

the beauty supply (shop) stores sells it really cheap. i use acetone to remove paint stains off of my wood floor and polish off of my toe nails. it works great! try it!

If you need like 6 oz go buy a bottle of fingernail polish remover- that should be very inexpensive-D

in any medical stores, Acetone is used in hospitals to remove the adhesive bandage from skin which was sticked directly to skin. for contenuious iv for longer period. it is very cheap.
