Sorry but I have to say no. We say we are the richest country in the world yet we have many homeless people, uneducated & undereducated people, million with no health insurance, starving people, etc. If we are so great and we have the time and money to help other countries, why aren't we putting all the resource into our our country. Help our people get an education and start more businesses, get jobs, have more than a box to live in, etc. I think we should help others as well but it seems that we've stopped focusing on Americans in the past 15 years.

I don't know where else I would live but Ireland and Sweden seem peaceful. I think it's rather strange that throuhgout our history, we are the in the middle of most chaos and then we stay to clean it all up. This world have just gotten to hard and complicated. Maybe I'll live with the penguins in the south pole. No people.

No, not really. I was born here, my family has lived her for centuries, it's my home and I love it dearly. But I do not believe any country is "the best". All countries have their ups and downs, good people and bad people. The USA is no different.

There's no other place I'd rather live--I was born in the USA and I will die here. My family has lived and died here. My father proudly served in the US Army and the US Navy. It was while serving in the US Navy that he had a horrible accident and is now disabled. He doesn't regret it and our family doesn't regret it. But to say the US is the best country? That can only lead to arrogance, overestimation of our abilities, mistreatment of our allies and, ultimately, ruin.

I'm not from America, but I'd love to visit it! It really is a powerful country! But it has its flaws like other countries! But if you come from America, you'll of course say it's the best! I'll also say that my country is the best! But the US is strong!

=)

I love New York! but I don't think that America is the best country in the world. They have many major problems, like the number of murders and crime rates, obesity, terror threats, insufficient health care provisions, racial issues, gangs, unemployment and don't forget George Bush.

It most certainly is not - (and Im an American, born and raised, on the playground is where I spent most of my days...shooting out...okay you get the point).

The best thing about America, is that it is the country where you get to learn alot about progressing through time with members of other ethnicities -how do a bunch of different people come together to be dominant...thats America...Diverse and Dominant...but...I dunno, maybe Austrailia or India is the best country,

America MIGHT be the best REPUBLIC in the world, but not the best nation on earth.

It has a lot to offer. Beautiful places to visit. The hottest and the coldest climates. Lots of different types of cities.

The problem most people outside of America have with America is that it is filled with Americans.

You do have a beautiful country though.
