My fully charged N70 phone with new battery doesn't last a full day.
Am I alone with this? Thanks

In terms of the screensaver, you can go to the media gallery and select on of the other pics in the gallery as a screen saver.... in terms of the battery, did you charge it for 16 hours when you got it? If not the reason why it won't hold it's charge is because when you first get the phone, the battery needs to be "conditioned" by charging for 16 hours otherwise it effects the standard battery life (in which case you may need to get a replacement battery from your network supplier ((orange/O2/Vodaphone etc.)) under insurance, or buy a new battery direct from nokia.com)

Hope that helps ya.

Power Management
Battery: Lithium Ion Battery 970mAh BL-5c
Talk Time: Up to 3.5 hrs*
Stand-by Time: Up to 11 days*
*Depends on the operator network configuration and radio access technology used.

Did you properly charge it the first time? If so, maybe next time you buy a phone, check out the stats before buying it...
