Oh, sure! Three hundred million people in the USA, and you think that 3 people exemplify. Didn't Gibson get raked over the coals by MOST Americans? Isn't Richards getting chastised? And OJ only got freed because he is black! If a white man had been tried for stabbing his black wife and a friend, the riots would STILL be going on!
Look at every other nation in the world, and find one LESS racist. Let me know what you find. And remember racism does not mean "white". Iran is not very tolerant, either!

Although there is a penetrating degree of racsm in the US the
3 celebrities racism, does not really prove anything about the whole US. Just as 3 white folks doing good or wonderful things for persons of another race does not mean that racism has disappeared. The US has a long way to go and anyone, if they have taken the time to know or question members of other races, will realize that this is true. If you don't think it's true ask some folks of another race, if you still don't believe it, then you are part of the problem. To some degree media is a big part of the problem.

Noooo! How can 3 people speak for an entire nation? As for OJ..omg if he wasnt a celebrity he wouldve been found guilty...he was found innocent, how is that racist? The fact that he wasnt just shows a problem w/our judicial system. The crap he's getting right now is deserved... his new book that's coming out is just disgusting and proves to me and everyone else that justice was not served. He's basically confessing now because he knows he cant be tried again and he must be hard up for money. It's sad that the antics of a couple of famous people are reflected on the rest of the American people...because I find the comments theyve made completely vile and offensive.

How is America racist? Mel Gibson apologized, and Michael Richards apologized because they knew the American public strongly disapproved of the remarks they made. It's as if Americans had heard racist jokes and walked away instead of standing there laughing. Persecution of OJ? You must be joking. A cold blooded murderer is walking around free because he's black. Now that racism!

No, America (United States) is not totally racist.
Gibson, no matter how drunk, is clearly anti-Semitic, but who didn't know that already?
Richards is a BAD comic, and hoped that a rant would be seen as funny. It wasn't.
OJ was guilty, in spite of the jury's idiotic decision.
What these three things have in common is that people in the public eye should 1) stay sober, 2) not do stand up and 3) admit guilt to the police, not to a publisher.

Every culture is. You just have to sift through it, and find people that aren't.
The Spanish, English, and french wiped out the Indians.
Arabs enslave Africans to this day.
The french do not care for people from northern Africa.
American blacks criticize other American blacks based on the depth of their skin color.
Last but not least, go to a few local churches, and look at the members.

Persecution of OJ? You have to be kidding. The man is clearly a murderer. If anyone is being persecuted, it's society. When money and fame are enough to influence jurors and others to let someone get away with murder, our society is going to hell in a hand basket.

Sorry, but I have to say no. Usually the most racist people out there are the ones always talking about racism.

No! not any more than white eggs are prefered over brown eggs, or vanilla icecream over chocolate. People that are always looking for racist in everything are the true hidden racist.
