i have heard that it slows down your computer with various viruses and then you have to buy the software of them to sort it, which pays for the music you downloaded for free?
if this is the case will it be all right to remove it of the computer or is it to lats?

Limewire itself doesnt infect your computer, however some of the files you download through it might, as limewire has no control over what people share. Be wary of .exe files and .zip or .rar files. These could all contain viruses put there by malicious users. In general try to download to one folder and scan each file with your antivirus before you open them. If you stick to downloading music or videos you should be fine.

Who said that?I have been using the Freeware Limewire for Years and has never fallen into such situations until you don't copy a virus from the LimeWire Software.

free limewire like a lot of free p2p (peer 2 peer) downloading programs use spyware programs to pay for the music you download it is these spyware programs that download other programs and that which will affect the perfromance of your pc along with causing pop-ups and other nasty surprises. only way i know to get rid of them is to pay for the programing or else do a system reboot, best to do a system reboot compleat format and then pay for the the pro version of limewire, or use antoher program like newshosting (about $15 a month for unlimited access)

Used Limewire for small files for ages without any problem at all, also Bearshare is good for smaller mp3 files but make sure you run a good spy ware remover. For larger files Bit torrent is the way to go.
