Call the integers x, x+1, x+2

x+1+x+2 = x/2 + 24

2x + 3 = x/2 + 24
2x = x/2 + 21
4x = x + 42
3x = 42
x = 14

The three integers are 14, 15, 16

define 2 integers, X and Y such that Y = X + a million Then, 2X + 4Y = 40 six Substituting: 2X + 4(X + a million) = 40 six 2X + 4X + 4 = 40 six 6X + 4 - 4 = 40 six - 4 6X = 40 two X = 40 two/6 = 7 Y = X + a million = 7 + a million = 8 The integers are 7 and eight.

Take three consecutive integers as x , x+1 , x+2.

(x+1) + (x + 2) = 24 + (1/2)x
2x+3 = 24 + (1/2)x
2x+3 = (48 + x)/2

multiply both sides by 2.

4x + 6 = 48 + x
3x = 42
x = 14

The three consecutive integers are 14,15,16

Have a nice day.

Integers are n, n+1, n+2.
(n+1)+(n+2) -24=n/2
2n+3-24=n/2
3n/2 = 21
3n=42
n=14, 15, 16

Check:
15+16 -24 = 14/2
7=7 OK

Make three consecutive integers = x,y&z.

Where y+z=x/2 + 24

but the numbers are consecutive so y=x+1 and z=X+2
so:
x+1+x+2=x/2+24
2x-x/2=21
3x/2=21
X=14

the consecutive numbers are 14,15&16

Let the numbers be 'x', 'x + 1' and 'x + 2'
x + 1 + x + 2 = x/2 + 24
2x + 3 = x/2 + 48/2
2x + 3 = (48 + x)/2
48 + x = 2(2x + 3)
48 + x = 4x + 6
x = 4x + 6 - 48
x = 4x - 42
x - 4x = -42
-3x = -42
3x = 42
x = 42/3
x = 14
The numbers are 14, 15 and 16

1/2x + 24 = (x+1) +(x+2)
24- 3= 2x -1/2x
21= 1.5x
21/1.5 = 1.5x /1.5

14= x

x+1= 15
x+2= 16
