Two raid sata(raptor) 74 gig each 10 000 rpm(for the program)
And 1 or two Big ATA (like 500 gig each) for the data!

The normal speed of hds is 7 000 rpm
And in theory, the larger one are slower! (still turn at 7 000 but need more time to access everywere) And you need also check the memory 4b? 8b?,16? the best is use a smaller for installind windows and the programs and a larger one to store your datas. If you have a huge one, make several partitions for performance and if you wanna defrag your hd it s better to do it several short times than only in one shot that takes 2 hours and more .

And Sata hd are in general faster. ( but there are some ATA that runing at 10 000rpm. I have two WD raptor (in pairs run pretty damn fast)

So larger=Space
Smaller=performance

I recommend you purchase the Acer Aspire, simply by bigger not ordinary rigidity and the bigger video reveal. memory is fantastically affordable, yet video reveal instruments and not ordinary drives can run up a bill extremely promptly.
