I mean seriously, I'm lucky if i find one movie in a whole year that amounts to anything at all, there are allways regurgitations of old school cult classics, (hills have eyes, house of wax, Amityville) and of course the never ending cliche story about a guy who meets a girl and falls in love..do people out there enjoy watching the crap they release? they spend so much money on pure crap! When are we going to get some good movies, like fear and loathing in las vegas, or resevoir dogs, or natural born killers, scarface..ect.

hollywood release so much crap because they know, unfortunately for the rest of us, that the majority of peeps enjoy the utter crap you mentioned, and therefore they know they will get megabucks back by making such trite.

Because the general public seems to have an incredible appetite for crap. Of course, the general public developed the taste for crap by being fed so much of it to begin with. Or put another way, if you eat 'baloney' every night for dinner, you might not know how to appreciate prime rib. . .
