I'll tell you why, because they are too busy moaning about people not being happy with muslim women wearing head-to-toe burkhas hijabs. Maybe it's about time Muslims stopped moaning and focused on the important issues and threats that this country faces.

They're not going to because they condone terrorism and everything it stands for. They cry foul should someone outside ths islamic faith should so much as cast a critical eye on their religion, then come here, sponge off the government claim every benefit known to man, and then protest should someone print cartoons of the so called "prophet" mohammed. muslims cry foul that they are not being treated fairly, but don't cry foul whenever terrorists from the muslim community kill hundreds to thousands of innocent civillians.

The negative approach will certainly not help them see any better than they already do.
You cannot control how people think and act but you can certainly control your own doings.
I am sure they would participate in such a rally as British citizens, if one was organized. They just have more problems facing them as you thankfully mentioned, it could be minor issues and moaning for you, but for them it's religion and belief!
And on another thought, everybody would then point a finger at them and misinterpret their cause anyway and foreign media would ignore it, and that shows from the generalization I noticed when people talk about Muslims here. Where I live, there had been movies, advertisement and many other methods condemning terrorism...but westerners never see that, if they do see it they never take it into account, and they still have the same opinion no matter what. So why bother!!!

im taking this opportunity not to answer this question but to correspond to the previous answers.
im 15 and a Muslim. i practice my religion and the al-Quran. i just want to clarify to those who are ignorant and makes false statements such as MR PRIVATE up there.....
he quotes that the holy Quran teaches destruction and hatred. man how low could you go? hav u actually read the Quran urself? the Quran teaches us to put a side differences between race and religion to treat others equally. it emphasizes peace not only among Muslims but among all. how cold u make such serious accusations about the holy Quran. the Quran itself was sent by Allah the almighty to show humans the path to goodness the way of life. many non-Muslims who actually read the Quran find themselves embraced. it contains all the guidelines to live a balance life to achieve success. not only that, many scientific findings and discoveries are based from the holy Quran. many Christians try to rebut the Qurans greatness but soon found them speechless.
and as for martin K, ur saying what u see. do u see the pain inflicted onto Palestinians by the israelis. moreover, i think all this terrorist bombings are just a fraction in comparison to the killings on Muslims in Palestine. i might be young but ive seen a lot over there. the terrorism weve seen are but a fraction to the cruelty of israel. they bury preschoolers for gods sake. they kill Palestinians with no mercy. kids that throw rocks at them are shot with rifles. houses with their occupants inside are locked and bull dozed. that u Americans never address huh?

Because Muslims are too busy organizing HATE rallies against Whites, Westerners and Christians who dare to say anything that offends them... They can't take a joke - even if someone makes a cartoon about Islam they're out on the street demanding blood...!!!
If Islam is a religious "Faith" - how come Muslims are ALWAYS preaching death and destruction...??? - NEVER PEACE...!!!
Never mind ordinary people - we are, ALL of US, weak sinners, after all... BUT when was the last time we heard of a Muslim holy man or Imam urging Islamic followers to "Turn the Other Cheek" - "Resist All Temptation" and/or "NEVER Take Revenge"...???

Muslims, even moderate ones, avoid denouncing terror, and whenever asked about it, talk about the wrongs done to them and not the wrongs Muslims are doing to others. i think this indicates that they favor the terrorists, but prefer not to declare their favorites, unless of course they discuss it amongst themselves, in languages they believe are not understood by westerners.

im a muslim and i dont give a **** about terrorism - terrorists will not kill me, im not a terrorist - why the **** should i have a 'rally' denouncing terror. Id rather sit at home and eat jaffa cakes quite frankly
