Normal is not. Normal is generally what is accepted and being done by the masses.
But in regards to LGBT, normal and natural are two different things.
Heterosexuality is the natural order of things. Man and woman have a baby girl, and that baby grows up and has a baby with a man - who also came from another man and woman - and they have a baby boy.....and the cycle continues.
The ultimate use of sex is procreation. It is one of the key parts of survival - keeping the species alive and going. Attraction is something that leads to sex. If a man is attracted to another man, then there is something wrong.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that there is anything morally wrong with homosexuality, what I'm saying is that it is not what nature intends.
I personally believe it is caused naturally, by hormones and such, i mean, it would have to be wouldn't it? Attraction is natural, and doesn't tend to happen until after sexual development (puberty) which is a hormonal and physical thing.
I can't help being attracted to certain people, and certain attributes they have, and neither can anybody else. I didn't choose to be attracted to women, and by the same token, i didn't chose to not be attracted to men. It is just the way I developed.

Normal is the state in which there is conformance to established norms of behaviour or expression. It is not stated it is religiously practiced and abided to and anything diverging from this is not normal
