I use kanebo shampoo! and I love it.. my hair is oily too...
Sometimes I do tricks to avoid damaging it by washing it everyday!
Try any good brand claryfing shampoo! Use conditioner too, a dime-size amount you know but infrequently... like twice a week... be sure to apply it ONLY to the ends, you dont want to add in extra oil to the scalp... do you!?
When it come to hair product, you can be picky! its your right... dont use too much otherwise it will weigh down your hair and the residue will then accumulate! You dont want that!
You can use baby powder or talc powder to make your hair look less greasy. When your hair is greasy and you dont want to wash it, rub in a small amount into the roots, but don't put too much in so that people can see whiteness on your hair!
When you take a shower, before washing your hair, use a spoonful of vinegar on your hair.
Avoid brushing it too much.... Good Luck ;-)

When I was younger (many years ago) there was a powder shampoo on the market. I have used talcum powder in an emergency but the 'powder' shampoo was great. It was useful if you were away from home or in hospital. Washing your hair everyday actually causes it to become more greasy as you are activating the 'oil glands' to be more active. Hope this helps, if not you will probably grow out of it and remember that clean hair is always best.
Good luck.

where is it going greasy just at the front ?
I used to get a strip at the front when i had longer hair - no matter if i didn't touch it would still get greasy.
I believe its a vicious circle - you wash your hair as its greasy and the more you wash it the greasier it gets.
I would suggest washing it less - obviously over the weekend when nobodies gunna see ya.
good luck x
I now have my hair fairly short about 4 inches long and i now only was my hair twice a week whereas before it was every day.

Tony and Guy do a dry shampoo spray which I use to spray my hair if its turning greasy and i haven't got the time to wash it. Apparently Superdrugs also do a dry shampoo spray which is a lot cheaper that I have yet to check out. So maybe check Superdrugs first as Tony and Guys one is a bit expensive at £6.00! It smells nice though!

You can use a lemon based shampoo or apply lemon to the hair before using shampoo. You can also use whites of eggs to apply it to the scalp. Dont try any harsh chemicals as she is only seven years old.

Try washing it every other day- you are makin your oil glands overproduce oil- also whilst doing this put talc in your hair and pat it out and comb it- this helps- it's best if you have light hair though!

i wash mine every 2 days because it gets greasy. try using baby shampoo, its really mild and wont irritate your scalp, which will then over produce oils.

wash it with mild shampoo.
If you must use conditioner, apply it only to the very ends of the hair.

Don't touch it. I know if you dye it, it helps.
