I'm sure that Fairbanks is a nice little town, but why would people want to live under such harsh conditions if they don't to? I mean as I write this, it's -25 below zero right now!

I just don't understand why anyone would want to put themselves through that when there are plenty of places to live in the Midwest.

-sixty two! No way! i'm in sunny Southern California, and while the temps get under 60 i'm complaining it relatively is too chilly, or above seventy 5 i'm complaining it relatively is too warm. i be attentive to that folk adapt to their ecosystem, yet Alaska is in all probability too chilly for me. Years in the past I had a md that spent 0.5 of the 300 and sixty 5 days in Alaska for company, and while he could come back to California (in the iciness) he could walk around in shorts and a tank suitable while the temps have been in the 50s and whinge with regard to the warmth! desire this facilitates. stable success.
