Well, the most boring movies are those that my brain sensibly edits from my memory, so I'm sure that those are irretrievably lost to recollection! I will ,however, offer you my candidate for the most over-rated film of all time which is, without doubt, Citizen Kane!

I've nothing against Orson Welles, and his 'The Third Man' for example is brilliant. But Kane is an overblown biopic of an over-blown man. It is a very 'All American' movie which addresses a semi-mythical plutocrat via a generally adulatory narrative. Despite flashes of brilliance, I find that it does not hold my attention throughout, and the 'Rosebud' mystery is, when you think about it, rather twee! The best lines are in the 'Xanadu...' Coleridge quote with which the film opens. I'm terrible at memorising poetry, but would love to have the whole of that by heart!

Atlantic City. The TV guide gave it five stars but it was utterly boring, disorganised and vague and I lost interest very quickly! I agree that Rambo is boring as well,

There are so many best... I like The Third Man because it is very atmospheric, A Company of Wolves because it is an unusual horror film but I have to confess to really liking Ever After because it is fairytale feel-good.

Cold Mountain - 3 hours building to an ending you could have guessed in the first 5 mins.

To Live and Die in LA - Brilliant film, cool soundtrack, or, for belly laughs till it hurts, Monty Python & the Holy Grail or Top Secret, Val Kilmer's first film....

Alexander with Colin Farrell. It was so long and boring that I felt myself growing old while watching it.
The best film I've seen is The Shawshank Redemption.

The worst movie I ever saw was"The man with three arms" It was just so strange, don't know if it counts as boring but It was bad. I am a "star wars" fan so my best movie would have to be one of the original three.

La Dolce Vita - classic Italian film; very, very long and with no real plot. The subtitling was sketchy making it harder to understand, and I didn't care about any of the characters.

(I'm amused by some of the other answers here, many have mentioned films I actually love!)

Least boring... I dunno, I have lots of favourite movies. I really like The Labyrinth!
