It's quite legal, but come the reception - you only get one family fighting instead of two different ones ! ! !

Culture is the most important thing. We live in a society and its better we adhere to the rules stipulated by it. Otherwise we would have problems. Regarding health wise also lot of people say that marriage with close relatives is not good. Hence it would be better not to marry a cousin.

The son of our president was married to his cousin. We called it second cousin. His father and his wife's mom (not sure if mom or her dad) is cousin, The church allows it. Personally..i think its not good.

I think you can legally marry them but in my opinion it's a bit wrong. It's a bit too close to home, a bit like interbreeding, I don't think you should marry anyone with whom you have blood ties =0S

in most states it is legal to marry 3rd 4th and so on cousins, but not first or 2nd or sibling even if not blood related . but recent medical research indicates that the former myths of deformities and mental challanges have been proven false, with the exception of siblings.

It is legal just not morally ethical. Some may call it incest after all you woould share the same grandparents. Personally I don't think if makes for good breeding. We need to a wider gene pool rather than a narrower one.

i personally wouldnt do it, but if think if others want to, its their business, i do think they should be aware of any known genetic diseases/conditions that run in their families perhaps take a few extra steps(genetic testing , counseling) really when you think about it, with sperm banks etc, there are probably people meeting their half siblings and cousins every day, yet they dont know about it

it IS legal to marry your cousin but PERSONALLY I don't think it is ok..I think it's wrong to marry anyone related, but when you look at the royal family I think that's why it's legal because of queen Victoria marrying Albert who was her cousin, I suppose they were besotted but that's just my opinion.
