I don't know why, but it won't let me make a folder with the name con. I've tried typing it in caps lock and everything!

You can't make a folder named CON or con, because of Windows limitation.I don't know the exact cause but probably the syntex or name is used by some system process and files.
Well if you wanna chalenge sombody do this-
Turn your caps lock on and tell 'em to rename a folder by CON, they won't be able to do..Now with a quick succession or after tilting your keyboard type C0(its numeric zero!)N and what you'll see on your screen is C0N.. have fun.. :)

try to name your folder like you want but in the end add Alt 255 it will add a space after the name, maybe it will work

open cmd prompt, type:

md \\.\\C:\con

from wat i know con is linked to a system programming thing on ur comp so u cant do it.
