Please could someone recommend a Best external tv tuner which should give noise free pic and that works with a tft lcd monitor. I want a standalone tuner so no usb connected tuners thanks. Am unsure whether to get a digital tuner or a simple analog tuner. Will be mostly used for viewing tv progs and connecting ps2 to monitor without having to boot up PC.

Try Pinnacle or Dazzle TV Tuner cards. It can give you good performance.

if you buy a external tv tune combo ,u can work when ur system cpu is off,
if u buy internal u have to onn ur system cpu but in internal u can capture image,video rec ,ins replay and also pause and play!!!
my suggestion is internal or external buy intex it gives good quality of video!!!
